Donate Medical Equipment
Volunteers in Action accepts donations for and distributes Durable Medical Equipment for people who need them temporarily or are low income and need to borrow these items. We receive many referrals from hospitals and rehab centers for people who need these items but are unable to afford them. Thank you for donating these items.
Giving Through your Will
You can give to support VIA through your will or through gifts like appreciated stock, real estate or through a Charitable Gift Annuity. Volunteers in Action works with Barnabas Foundation to serve charitable organizations like us. Together we can assist you in exploring charitable options that fit your personal financial situation.

Donate Your Car
You can donate your used vehicle to our Car Ministries program. This program serves to assist those who are in need of a reliable vehicle to get to their employment. If you have a vehicle that you would consider donating to this ministry, please email or call us at 303-713-9144.
Appropriate referrals for people in need of a vehicle come from our supporting churches or from volunteers who are in ongoing supportive relationships with our volunteers.
Other Ways to Support VIA:
Employer Matching Gifts programs: If your employer offers a matching gift program, VIA can help you fill out the necessary form to qualify for this. Contact us with any questions.
Giving through your IRA distribution: There may be advantages to you to give to Volunteers in Action through your IRA distribution. A number of VIA donors give this way.
Designating Thrivent Choice dollars to VIA: For those of you who invest through Thrivent Financial, you can designate your Thrivent Choice Dollars to VIA. Search of Volunteers in Action when making your designation.
Gifts of Appreciated Stock or Real Estate: These gifts are a great help for VIA’s long-term sustainability. We are a member of the Barnabas Foundation and they can help with transferring this kind of gift or setting up a Charitable Gift Annuity to benefit all involved.
