Pastor’s Luncheon

VIA hosted a luncheon for the area CRC pastors at the Table Public House on Thursday, August 24.  The tasty BBQ certainly nourished some zesty ideas for after lunch discussion as well as provided time for updates on sister churches.

Karen and Sheri reminded everyone that VIA is a valuable resource to assist people in tough situations in our congregations or in our communities. Donn facilitated discussion on how VIA can be more helpful for their churches. He also welcomed the pastors' input in hiring VIA’s next director as he will be retiring at the end of 2023.

Overall, the pastors agreed that VIA plays an important role in gathering our community together for volunteer opportunities and events and expressed hope for that to continue. “VIA is the conscience of our churches, making us aware of the needs of our communities.”
