iPads for Rowan

Ipads to Rowan Community2.jpg

We continue to stay connected to Rowan Care Facility despite the face to face visiting restrictions.  We are thankful that in December, VIA partnered with the deacons from two churches to purchase three Apple iPads for their residents.  The staff and residents have been very appreciative and grateful.  With these iPads they can FaceTime with family and friends as well as play games, like “Words with Friends” and online games, while social distancing in their rooms.

In addition, we are partnering with several elementary classrooms at Denver Christian School to reach out to Rowan residents and staff by sending handmade Christmas cards and encouraging notes.
